Like the rest of the world, Armenia also celebrates International Jazz Day on April 30. Yerevan, which in the 1970s was considered the jazz capital of the USSR, was one of the first to join the celebration of this day. We would like to note that the celebration of International Jazz Day around the world started in 2012. Every year, world-famous and beloved jazz singers come to the celebration and together with famous Armenian jazzmen, a grand concert is held on the territory of the cultural and architectural complex “Cascade” in the open air. This event is becoming more and more popular year by year.
