May 9 is a day of important victories for the Armenians. On this day, the Armenians celebrate the victory in the Great Patriotic War in 1945, as well as the liberation of Shushi.
On this day, a number of events are held in Armenia and Artsakh. On this day, flowers are laid in memory of those who fell in the Great Patriotic and Artsakh Wars. In the evening, gala concerts and fireworks are organized.
